From the early age of 10, I was riding my bike to the local auction house, filled with boxes full of treasures from local estates.
I WAS HOOKED !
As time passed by and my family grew, I was always interested in the Antiques & Collectibles business and all the wonderful people, full of knowledge that I could learn from.
However, a career and family took center stage. It wasn't until my grandchildren were born, that I realized there was a better way to make a living and a simpler life to be had with less stress and more family time.
After several years on another site, I was pointed in the direction of Etsy, to share my treasures and estate finds with a group of fellow collector's and new friends.
My grandchildren have called me Dewey, from the beginning, so hence Dewey's Stuff became Deweytiques very quickly, and here we are....
We opened our Etsy shop in December 2015 and haven't looked back.
Everyone has welcomed us and given us the greatest support.
